Dr. Rueben Nair is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee and elbow, ACL reconstruction, cartilage restoration, meniscus repairs, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, rotator cuff repairs, shoulder stabilization, total knee arthroplasty, Tommy John elbow surgery and hip arthroscopy with labral repair/reconstruction. Dr. Nair utilizes evidence-based medicine and his Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver Sports Medicine fellowship-training to treat injuries with state-of-the-art techniques. He earned his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
As a former team physician for the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies, and as a current physician member of the US Ski and Snowboard Association, he's passionate about sports medicine and the prevention or management of sports-related injuries. He treats every patient as though they were a professional athlete, with a goal of optimal recovery. Dr. Nair strives to provide top-quality care to all patients with respect, compassion, and attention to detail.
